Goethe-Institut in Germany invites applications for the International Coproduction Fund to promote new working networks and approaches within a global context and to explore new forms of intercultural collaboration in 2020.
This award is proposed for co-productions by artists in the areas of dance, theatre, music, and performance art, in which interdisciplinary and hybrid setups and the use of digital media may be crucial components.
The intended group includes professional artists and outfits abroad and in Germany, which evidently lack sufficient resources to achieve their coproduction project on their own.
With the International Coproduction Fund, the Goethe-Institut would like to back the unlimited international and intercultural exchange of artists and their concepts.
The enabling of such an exchange and the networking it generates among the different players are equally as crucial as the productions resulting from the project.
